About the WAKE-UP CALL

Officially launched at Parliament in December 1998, the WAKE-UP CALL delighted the many attending politicians and overseas diplomats. It also fired the imagination of untold New Zealanders nationwide.

A SIMPLE CHOREOGRAPHIC FORMAT TO SUIT US ALL

Easy to learn, it has the capacity to engage people of all ages and backgrounds and provides a perfect opportunity for team building. The basic seven-minute Wake-up Call can be adapted to present the individuality of the community, team, school or organisation that is arranging it and lends itself well to colour, costume, diversity, energy and fun. It is the ideal event to have in any truly community celebrations in any locality in New Zealand, or anywhere.

Do it yourself initiative

On request, a video and simple instructions package is available to familiarise anyone wishing to present the Wake-up Call independently.

Conduct Wake-up Call Workshops on request.
Produce a public Wake-up Call performance by appointment.

Official recognition

The Wake-up Call participants will be awarded a commemorative Millennium Wake-up Call Certificate.

The Year 2000, birth of the New Beginning
